Fall is here...

Fall Poems

Gently Falling Leaves

Little leaves fall gently down,

Red and yellow, orange and brown.

Whirling, whirling,

round and round,

Quietly without a sound.

Five Furry Squirrels

One furry squirrel dashes by.

Two furry squirrels are way up high.

Three furry squirrels some nuts to hide.

Four furry squirrels all play outside.

Five furry squirrels chase round and round,

Scattering acorns on the ground.

Leaves

Leaves on the pumpkin.

Leaves on the tree.

Leaves on the house.

Leaves on me.

Leaves on the ground.

Leaves on the street.

Leaves on the car.

Leaves on the feet.

Leaves on the wagon.

Leaves on the bear.

Leaves on the dog.

Leaves everywhere.

Leaves Fall

(From:The Education Center, Inc. I Can make It! I Can Read It!-Fall).

Big leaves fall.

Little leaves fall.

Tiny leaves fall.

I watch them all!

Taking A Walk

by Mary Jackson Ellis

Taking a walk is so much fun!
We don't hurry,
We don't run.
We watch for birds,
We watch for bees,
We watch for all the falling leaves.

Fall Songs

Autumn Leaves

(Tune:  Mary Had a Little Lamb)

Autumn leaves are falling down,

Falling down, falling down.

Autumn leaves are falling down.

Yellow, red, and brown.

Rake them up as they all down.

As they fall down, as they fall down.

Rake them up as they fall down.

Yellow, red, and brown.

Here comes the wind on a windy day,

A windy day, a windy day.

Here comes the wind on a windy day.

And blows them all away.

The Leaves Are Falling Down

(Tune:  Farmer in the Dell)

The leaves are falling down,

The leaves are falling down,

School is here and fall is near,

The leaves are falling down.

The leaves are falling down,

The leaves are falling down,

Some are red and some are brown,

The leaves are falling down.

The leaves are falling down,

The leaves are falling down,

They tickle your nose and touch your toes,

The leaves are falling down.

I'm a Little Squirrel
tune: I'm a Little Teapot

I'm a little squirrel, fuzzy and gray.

When fall comes, I gather nuts all day.

So that when the winter comes, you see,

I'll have food for family and me.
